She has contributed her social media marketing skills to a range of industries, including personal services, consulting and media, and will speak on social media to whoever will listen. Holly is the founder of Social Media Club Corpus Christi and is an active participant in regional social media goings-on, including SXSW Interactiveconferences. Dr. Acosta has over 13 years of practical business management and consulting. He has worked with such companies as Rothschild Bio-research, EDS, The Holy Orthodox Christian Church, Yahoo, Dish Network, Screaming Media, Yoyodyne Technologies, Q-vision, and with several Cinema Production and Distribution Corporations.
Dr. Acosta’s interest is in the development of effective online marketing techniques and strategies with focus on website optimization, and the psychology and trend discovery of the online market. He has made numerous presentations at professional conferences and has published several articles on electronic commerce and innovative marketing techniques. He has been invited to speak at several universities on the topic of Electronic commerce from a managerial perspective.
Currently Dr. Acosta works with Entravision Communications Corporation assisting with online market development.
